7- Standing (wogoof ) at Arafat:
This is the greatest corner of Hajj.Without it Hajj is afailure.In the morning of the 8th of "Zul Hajja" the pilgrims movd to Mina after Fagur prayer(morning prayer).They shorten the prayer from four to two while staying in Mina.On the morning of the 9th of zul Hajja, after praying Fagur Prayer ,they make great rush towards Arafat . There after camping they pray Zhur (noon prayer) and Asur (afternoon prayer) shortened and combined under one Adhan (Call for prayer) and two Igamat (call for the commencement of each prayer). That is according to the Sunnah (tradition) of prophet Mohammad "salla Allah alaihi wa sallam". At Arafat there is small hill still standing , where the prophet,"salla Allah alaihi wa sallam"stood and gave his famous farewell speech. All Arafat is standing point except one valley . But still some pilgrims insist to climb uphill .
